The current facility has served our community well for over 50 years. When it was build in 1964, it was suitable for the generation it was serving. In order to continue the same level of quality care, we are now in need of a facility that can serve the upcoming and current generations for decades to come!
Since opening doors in 1964, then there have been no additions made to the current building. As time has passed the building has begun to show its age. In 2013 the 31 bed facility spent $16,685 in mantienence and upkeep of the building. That averaged out to be $1.25 per resident a day. In 2014 the total increased to $30,098 or $2.25 per resident per day. In three years the facility has paid $66,052 in repairs. That could be the equivalent of a down payment on a new facility
